Our Story

Great flavors create memories; my mother's mustard brings me back to the family's summer house on a small island in Finland, to light summer nights, sauna, grilled Finnish "saunamakkara" (sausage enjoyed after hours spent in alternating numerous visits between hot sauna and cold lake) - life to enjoy! It has been the greatest pleasure to bring the family product to the US market that has warmly welcomed this new addition to its gourmet condiment selection. Anija's sweet and hot Finnish style mustard started as a holiday tradition in Suomi, Finland, with Mom (Anja) giving homemade jars of delicious mustard to family and friends. Today the tradition is continued in Colorado. We offer an award-winning selection of Finnish mustard. Each variation comes with a kick and heat (hey, it gets cold in Finland!).
